Preliminary
- 1. Short title & commencement.
a. Name of the institution will be Siddha Samaz Sewa, Nepal (SSSN)
b. It shall come into force on such date as the concerned department of HMG/N may
grant sanction. - 2. Principle Office
The principle office of “SSSN” is to be located at Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal. - 3. Definition
In the constitution unless the context otherwise requires.
a. Siddha Samaz Sewa Nepal means the institution formed and registered in accordance with this constitution.
b. Institution means Siddha Samaz Sewa, Nepal.
c. Constitution means the constitution of Siddha Samaz Sewa , Nepal “2055″
d. Executive committee means the committee formulated in pursuant of sec. 9 of this constitution.
e. Chairman means the chairman of the executive committee.
f. Vice chairman means the vice chairman of the executive committee.
g. Secretary means the secretary of the executive committee.
h. Joint secretary means the joint secretary of the executive committee.
i. Treasurer means the treasurer of the executive committee.
j. Member means member by virtue of sec. 5 and includes member of executive committee.
k. Local officer means the chief of the district administration office. - 4. Objectives:
The objective of this institution is to operate within the limit of act and policy formulated by the HMG/Nepal and in liaison with concerned authority with the following programmes:-
a. To assist in protection from the environmental pollution throughout the country particularly in Himali region and to bring it up to the standard.
b. To bring awareness about environment, human being and living creatures and assist to pursue the same.
c. To provide consultancy and assistance in the uses of alternative fuels i.e. bio-gas, solar power system and so on so that uses of forest product, firewood grass, etc. is minimized.
d. To provide assistance in developing spiritual and social courtesy like creation of temples, domes etc. for general welfare of the community.
e. To provide assistance in the field of research and innovative work toward making environment of Himali region to be pure and natural so that the rural tourist business, main source of foreign exchange will be flourished and strengthened.
f. To provide assistance in bringing greenness by way of plantation in the hilly areas, which has currently seemed to be a desert owing to excess cutting of forest by uncontrolled population.
g. To make rural development infrastructures sustainable by implementing water supply, source protection, sanitation, domestic latrines and environmental education programmes in areas inhabited by people living in dire poverty.
